These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DIY Home's website and application at diyhome.co (the "Service"), operated by DIY Home ("we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Description of Service

DIY Home is a project management application designed to help users plan, organize, and complete do-it-yourself home improvement projects. The Service includes:

• AI-generated project guides
• Project and task management tools
• Automatically generated tool and material lists
• Project tracking and organization features

Account Registration

Creating an Account

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Eligibility

Subscription Plans and Payment

Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial that includes access to all features. No credit card is required to start your free trial.

Paid Subscriptions

We offer the following subscription plans:

• DIY Plan: $3.99/month
• Pro Plan: $7.99/month

Plan features and pricing are subject to change. Current pricing and features are available on our pricing page.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Annual subscriptions receive a discount (up to 33% savings)
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees due

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• You will retain access to paid features until the end of your billing period
• We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect for existing subscribers.

Acceptable Use

You Agree Not To:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Violate the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect or harvest user data without consent
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

Your Responsibility

Limitation of Liability

Termination

Effect of Termination

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at legal@diyhome.co. We will try to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

Arbitration

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in English.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending you an email notification (for material changes)

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
